Family and friends and Critters!

Here is Grammy Daniels Timmy and me in our new house at Christmas

Here I am opening my new computer that Santa brought me!

This is not a "critter", this is Timmy with my goofy glasses.

This picture was taken in the Fall. We have a BUNCH of wild turkeys here.

I just took this picture of the deer from our new back porch... we usually have about 8 to 10 deer that visit us every day.

Here is Grammy Daniels laying on my bed in my new room watching "Price is Right" with me.

Here is a picture of Timmy my brother working on the computer in our new house.

This is a picture of Pastor and Mom in our new kitchen.

Jaime Working at the Seinor Center

I like my new job at the seinor center. I fold aprins, clean dishes, pick up and clean tables, put the chairs up and lots of other fun stuff. I also get to talk to lots of nice people. I also get to sing songs with the seinors. We had a banquet before Christmas and I WON this camera that took these pictures!!!
I will take some more pictures at the Hospital where I also work and put them here in a few days.
By for now!

Love, Jaime

We are getting a kitty!!!!!!!

Here are some pictures of our new little boy. We should be getting him in a few weeks.

We haven't decided on a name yet... we will accept suggestions please, BUT.... Dad is kind of insistant on ONE-syllable names. He says it's easy to holler' at them if they have a one-syllable name... For example... if he is about to scratch on the new couch, it's cumbersom to yell;

"HEY! Fatty-McButter-Pants! QUIT scratchin' the couch!!!!"

"Cu-tey-Pie", "Mis-ter-Man", "Fluff-y", "Rom-per", "Rip-per", "Swee-ty-Boy", "Prec-ious", and the like are UNACCEPTABLE.

Much easier to yell a ONE SYLLABLE name... "JAKE!"... "SID!"... "SAM!" Etc. are good names.
Another benifit of a one syllable name is that the animal will easily learn, accept, remember, and respond quicker to a one syllable name.
Can you imagine trying to work a big ol' team of pulling horses named "Elington and Alfred"? Or "Scarlet and Sunshine"... or "Peterson and Jacob"..... You'd never get them hitched!!

That's why pulling and work horses usually have names like "Zeke and Bud", "Pete and Joe", "Mike and Jack".... it makes it easier to yell and also makes it easier for the horse to know his own name!

So... We've had a "JAKE"... and "SID", so they are out.... any suggestion on a name for this little guy (keeping in mind the above stipulations)?

By the way... 'Aint he cute?!!

This is about how he will look when we bring him home... he's a "Seal point".

Here is a link to the "Cattery" where we found him. You can go here and see his mom and dad. The site also has a live "KITTY CAM" that's always on and watching the cats.... COOL!

Last Pictures of Jake

Jake in his "nest". A place he loved to rest.

Jake spent a lot of time here in his last days. It was a warm, sunny spot.

Jake loved to lay and sleep on Dad's chest. This is how he was when he went to sleep for the last time. He just fell asleep like this, and didn't wake up.
