New House pictures!!!

We have a screened PORCH!!! Well.... sort of.... A porch with no screen yet anyway. The boys finally finised. Now they are working on putting siding down under the deck in back.
Here is a pic from the road. Note the new porch and the BIG SNOW!

Here is a pic from the top of Grampa and Grammy's driveway.

Another picture from Grammy and Grampa's driveway.

You can see our house on the left.

BIG SNOW!

This is Grampa and Grammy's house after dad raked the roof and ran the snow-blower.

A pic of the house from down in front where Dad feeds the deer.

The boys build a tent down were they are doing the siding to keep warm.

Pictures of me working at the hospital.

Here are some pictures of me doing my job at the Hospital. It is a REALLY fun job and the people are SOOoooo nice! I work in the Dining Room where people in the hospital, (doctors, nurses, staff, visitors and patients) come to get food and drinks. I help to clean up, stock supplies (coffee, salt and pepper, sugar, creamer in the fridge etc.) and get to visit with all the people.

This is a picture of me keeping things clean (NICE hat huh?)

This is the coffee counter and you can see all of the different kinds of coffee. I make sure every thing is full and clean.

This is my friend Joanne and I, standing in the kitchen. She is a great person and very nice and helpfull to me and mom.

Mom helps and she gets a nice hat too!

Pictures of our NEW house!

People have been asking how our house looks so here are a few shots of it for you. You can click on some of these pictures to see a bigger, more close up view... but some slow computers might take a while to load them!
The picture above was taken from the road in front of our house. If you look at the right side of the deck, you will see some tall posts (you can see them in the pictures below also). Their will be a roof installed this spring, using these tall posts. It will be a little lower than the main roof, but it will have the same pitch and angle (NOT a SHED roof... the ridge pole on the new roof will run the same direction as the main house's ridge pole). That is why there is no siding on that side of the house yet.

This picture was taken from over by Grampa and Grammy's apple trees.

This picture was taken from Grampa and Grammy's front deck. The Birch tree in the way is MY birch tree! It was planted in 1986, the same year I was born.

This picture was taken from down in front of Grampa and Grammy's front lawn.

This picture was taken from down by where we feed the deer in front of our house.

Family and friends and Critters!

Here is Grammy Daniels Timmy and me in our new house at Christmas

Here I am opening my new computer that Santa brought me!

This is not a "critter", this is Timmy with my goofy glasses.

This picture was taken in the Fall. We have a BUNCH of wild turkeys here.

I just took this picture of the deer from our new back porch... we usually have about 8 to 10 deer that visit us every day.

Here is Grammy Daniels laying on my bed in my new room watching "Price is Right" with me.

Here is a picture of Timmy my brother working on the computer in our new house.

This is a picture of Pastor and Mom in our new kitchen.

Jaime Working at the Seinor Center

I like my new job at the seinor center. I fold aprins, clean dishes, pick up and clean tables, put the chairs up and lots of other fun stuff. I also get to talk to lots of nice people. I also get to sing songs with the seinors. We had a banquet before Christmas and I WON this camera that took these pictures!!!
I will take some more pictures at the Hospital where I also work and put them here in a few days.
By for now!

Love, Jaime

We are getting a kitty!!!!!!!

Here are some pictures of our new little boy. We should be getting him in a few weeks.

We haven't decided on a name yet... we will accept suggestions please, BUT.... Dad is kind of insistant on ONE-syllable names. He says it's easy to holler' at them if they have a one-syllable name... For example... if he is about to scratch on the new couch, it's cumbersom to yell;

"HEY! Fatty-McButter-Pants! QUIT scratchin' the couch!!!!"

"Cu-tey-Pie", "Mis-ter-Man", "Fluff-y", "Rom-per", "Rip-per", "Swee-ty-Boy", "Prec-ious", and the like are UNACCEPTABLE.

Much easier to yell a ONE SYLLABLE name... "JAKE!"... "SID!"... "SAM!" Etc. are good names.
Another benifit of a one syllable name is that the animal will easily learn, accept, remember, and respond quicker to a one syllable name.
Can you imagine trying to work a big ol' team of pulling horses named "Elington and Alfred"? Or "Scarlet and Sunshine"... or "Peterson and Jacob"..... You'd never get them hitched!!

That's why pulling and work horses usually have names like "Zeke and Bud", "Pete and Joe", "Mike and Jack".... it makes it easier to yell and also makes it easier for the horse to know his own name!

So... We've had a "JAKE"... and "SID", so they are out.... any suggestion on a name for this little guy (keeping in mind the above stipulations)?

By the way... 'Aint he cute?!!

This is about how he will look when we bring him home... he's a "Seal point".

Here is a link to the "Cattery" where we found him. You can go here and see his mom and dad. The site also has a live "KITTY CAM" that's always on and watching the cats.... COOL!

Last Pictures of Jake

Jake in his "nest". A place he loved to rest.

Jake spent a lot of time here in his last days. It was a warm, sunny spot.

Jake loved to lay and sleep on Dad's chest. This is how he was when he went to sleep for the last time. He just fell asleep like this, and didn't wake up.
